The Plaza Mayor draws millions of tourists every year and is one of Madrid’s most famous attractions.
While not an architectural work of art, the Plaza is one of the best places in Madrid to experience first hand Madrid’s friendly atmosphere. Highly popular amongst tourists and Spanish residents, the Plaza is a great spot to come together with the many citizens of this nation.
Founded thousands of years before, the Plaza Mayor formed its estimated recent form in 1790 following the last fire that took place. Political debates, bullfights, beheadings and festivals have all taken place in the The Plaza Mayor which was widely used as a public gathering. Learning the history of The Plaza Mayor before you visit, or even while you’re there, will certainly enrich your trip.
Measuring 100m on each side and being nearly square, it may not be exceptionally large, but it has the capacity to hold 50,000 people at once. And it is often very crowded, especially during the summer time. There are still some festivals that take place during the year, and that is a great time to drop by in order to have the real Spanish experience.
Numerous cafes, bars and restaurants line the Plaza, it’s a beautiful spot to take a rest and get a meal. Not to mention all of the traditional Spanish foods which can be found at a reasonable price. Also, you will find many shops to visit in which you can purchases mementos for your visit.
There are many convenient spots in the buildings lining the square where you can get a birds-eye view of events taking place in the Plaza below. This way you can avoid the crowds and still drink in the atmosphere and experience the sights and sounds of The Plaza Mayor.

In this installment of our cruise holidays guide we look at Hawaii…
A wish come true is the only way a great deal of people can describe going on a Hawaiian cruise. Very few travel adventures can live up to the thrill of sailing out into the depths of the Pacific Ocean on a luxury cruise liner in search of a paradise that is Hawaii and her neighboring islands. And what a paradise it is too! Beautiful women with sarongs dancing on the beach, palm trees laden with coconuts and tropical drinks down by the gently lapping waves is what you will get to experience on a Hawaiian cruise.
For Canadian and American citizens, there are Hawaii cruises departing from a variety of seaports along North America’s west coast. Vancouver, Seattle and San Diego are the main ports of departure to Hawaii, although several of the other ports up and down the coastline offer cruise services to Hawaii too.
Hawaiian cruise vacations usually consist of a 15-18 day round trip, taking in Hawaii and a couple of other nearby island ports. One-way cruises can also be booked where passengers opt to fly back home from Hawaii.
Many companies also offer extended Hawaii cruise vacations of 25-30 days or more. If you want to experience all that Hawaii has to offer, these extended trips can offer amazing adventures into some of the other islands such as Lanai, Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.
Even if you are the more restless type who does not enjoy lazing around in front of a pool simply taking in the sun, Hawaiian cruises can offer on land adventures to satisfy you. Become an explorer and walk through a lava tube on the Big Island or explore the waterfalls of Maui. If you don’t fancy the hike you can always do a Circle of Fire tour by helicopter.
On the south end of Hawaii near Kona is a botanical walk through the Kona Cloud Forest. If you are into water sports, there are various types, you can even take a submarine into the depths and explore over 25 acres of coral reef the area boasts.

Everyone in today’s society wants to have better gas mileage. With high gas prices, many people are going on less vacations and visiting stores much less. Gasoline prices have been deciding the lives of many people, however, this can be changed if you buy water4gas. If you develop an hho generator with the water4gas instructions, you will be able to increase the gas mileage of your car by atleast double.
Throughout the last few years, the hybrid car has been a very popular choice for many. They get tired of spending a lot of money on gas and having bad fuel mileage. Unfortunately, there is no way that you can transform your car into a hybrid, so you would have to buy a hybrid. In my view, anyone who buys a hybrid is wasting more money.
If you bought a hybrid vehicle, you would spend five grand more than it would have been with a regular car, and the value of a hybrid decreases faster. The hybrids are advertised more for the environmental benefits than for the fuel savings. If you are trying to save money on gas, then a hybrid is not going to help you out as much as you think. Since you are spending the extra money to begin with, it is going to take you awhile to make up that money.
Hybrid cars have been known to perform much worse than regular cars. They have been known to have very bad pick-up. The battery has also been known to be worse than a standard car, and they would cost you eight thousand dollars to replace. Now that the hybrid disadvantages are out of the way, you may be thinking about the water4gas alternative.
For a low price of $97, you can buy manuals that will teach you how to build an hho generator. For around $200, you can buy the appliances to build an hho generator, and this is much cheaper than buying a new hybrid. With an hho generator, you will be able to produce supplemental hydrogen. When hydrogen is combined with gasoline, it increases fuel efficiency. If your main goal is to save money on gas, then water4gas is the better option for you.

The Caribbean has now become the place to be on your holidays, and it has been getting all kinds of attention. You will also find that it has become the newspapers much loved area to write articles about as well, but why is this?
There has always been fascination with celebrities, where they go and what they do on their holidays. The Caribbean looks to have become the meeting place for celebrities these days. Wayne and Coleen Rooney are the two most recent to be spotted on their Barbados holidays. Coleen now showing off her pregnancy on the sunny white sandy beach of Barbados seems to be getting quite a lot of publicity.
It is almost like some of the celebrities are taunting us, we don’t all have the ability to go to the Caribbean and sometimes flights are too infrequent to fit in with our holiday schedules, but not for much longer. BA are going to be giving the public more frequent flights to areas like the Caribbean. So far BA is unmatched for its amount of flights to the Caribbean across the UK. We will be able to see these new flights starting to appear in October.
Trevor McDonald has embarked on a travel documentary this year around all of the Caribbean islands. There seems to me that there will be a massive increase in tourist revenue to these islands after the documentary has finished. So when the Documentary is released, we will all have better insight into the world of the Caribbean, our holiday ideas will be taken over by wanting to visit all these wonderful places.
St Lucia holidays and weddings abroad seem to be something that interests all Celebrities, so if you want to feel like one, then give it a go.

Planning to have some fun near your hotel in Beijing? Getting ready to wind down after a tiring day? Wanting unique party experience to juice up your Beijing stay?
Then visit Sanlitun Street-the best place to pull in Beijing-with top bars, cafes, nightclubs and restaurants the city can possibly offer.
During the 2008 Beijing Olympic many celebrities, including swimming star Michael Phelps, movie star Vince Vaughn, and soccer star Renaldhino, made appearance at the bars here.
The street known to locals as ‘the bar street’, is in the famous embassy area, only a few hundreds yards away from Beijing’s east 3rd Ring Road. Every day from afternoon till late night, this bar street is packed with party goers: expats, foreign tourists, and locals who are looking for party fun.
The street consists of two parts: Sanlitun North and Sanlitun South. Sanlitun North is where you will rock until the early hours of the morning. It’s pretty close tothe 4 star Beijing Taiyue Suites Hotel.
Sanlitun North gathers several dozen bars with tables outside; allowing you to sit down for drink or simply enjoy the street scene. The treat can be delightful even in Beijing’s baking summer, as the dense leaves of trees keep you out of the sun and offer you only cool shade.
With international customers on the rise, many bars here offer liquor and beer, from IPAs to Glenfiddich, coming from around the world. Some lesser-known brands from your hometown can even be found here!
Despite this, many visitors to China fall in love with local draft beers such as Yangjing and Tsingtao, which are palatable and refreshing by anyone’s taste. Each of the beers sells around RMB 25, which is a little expensive in Beijing, but still cheaper than back home.
Another good spot to visit for drinks at low pricesis the bar at the Beijing Avic hotel.
As the night falls, live performances start to rock this neighborhood, and before long the party reaches its climax. Party goers wiggle to the hip beats the band play, bartenders work on exhibition flair, and waitresses weave in and out of the crowds to serve your beers. The spirit might be a little different, but with all these fun, who cares!
Of course, if you are looking for a quiet ambience to have a conversation with friends, you could dive into the alleyways there offering just that. The atmosphere can be snug and breezy.
You may fix your dinner here, with most bars offering exotic food from spaghetti to borsch. Otherwise, just walk for a few minutes to the Sanlitun South for a more formal treat.
Sanlitun South gathers some of Beijing’s best restaurants for south Asian cuisines. A considerable number of ambassadors and diplomats are among the regular customers.
Ok, now you know the street, and you are ready to have a great wining & dining experience while in Beijing.Warning: too much drink may make you can’t get back to your Beijing hotel, and miss your Great Wall tour the next morning!

Holidays in the Caribbean have overshadowed the diving holiday, but it is growing in popularity. When you go on a beach holiday, you can find that it goes really quickly and all you have done is sun-bathe on the beach.
Bookings for diving holidays have been on the increase since the beginning of the year and it’s no wonder when the ocean is filled with some of the most stunning creations on earth. Diving holidays were not really that big a few years ago, probably because of the prices. Now is the time to book your next holiday location, especially when the prices for diving experiences have fallen so much. These holidays are great for romance as well, what could be more romantic than taking your partner on a liveaboard cruise and going diving.
Maybe the reason that people are going on these diving holidays is because of the environment and not so much about the money. The downturn in earth’s environment has affected the whole planet and has affected the sea even more so. The life that lives underwater off these coasts is beginning to die, so people quite rightly want to see them before they are gone. So it would then make sense for people to want to embark on these vacations, so that they can see the life that is slowly disappearing.
All I know is that when I went diving in Egypt I had one of the most amazing times of my life. I really did want to go shark diving in Africa, but the accommodation in Egypt at Sharm El Sheikh diving resort was phenomenal. I would seriously recommend to anyone to embark on one of these diving expeditions. Trying these diving holidays is a must for everyone, not to mention the unique and new marine life you will see. Now that the prices have dropped it is available for everyone, it is well worth a think.
